I’d be remiss in giving you all of this advice without telling you a little about me. I have been a media sales professional for over a decade across a number of mediums, predominantly newspapers and online, with a passion for great content and online business.
I have worked for News Limited (division of News Corp) as an advertising sales manager, and more recently was responsible for deriving maximum value and revenue from a network of 80 sites as Content Commercialisation manager for ninemsn, one of Australia’s leading digital publishers. This strategic content role involved leveraging all available online tools to deliver traffic and results for clients and the business. Currently I work as a Sales Strategist for Yahoo!7, a joint venture between Yahoo! and Channel 7 here in Sydney Australia.
I am a long time seller on eBay, having set up and run a successful DVD sales channel for one of Australia’s leading distributors that rapidly attained and continues to enjoy Powerseller status. In addition to my own personal sales efforts, I am also a Certified eBay Educator.
When I’m not blogging about online business, I’m an avid guitar player and movie fan, as well as a husband and father.
